| In September of 2004, it became a standard that teachers must complete and submit lesson plans to Admistration at Mr. Gardner's school. He thus developed a simple HTML form that fit the lesson plan model his school had set out for the teachers in his building. This HTML form was so simple that once the contents were filled out, he would have to copy and paste the results into the an email to forward onto his administration. It wasn't long before other teachers ask Mr. Gardner if they could also use his form. This gave him an idea, an idea to create a simple all inclusive ASP website that would allow teachers to create, edit and email lesson plans with ease. Yes, there were other lesson plan generators "out there", but none that Mr. Gardner felt were easy enough for the average teacher to use, and none that stored lessons in a central location. Thus LPG, or Lesson Plan Generator, was created. Again, teachers in his school district asked for more and more features. From these requests spawned goeducate.com. The webs fastest and easiest to user tool for teachers to support their class. |
