Apprenticeship 101

Choosing to work as an apprentice in the beauty industry is a great way to learn and gain experience, all at the same time!

In order to complete the state requirements for Barbering/Cosmetology, youll need to be enrolled in a state-approved apprenticeship program (like ours) while simultaneously working in a salon or barbershop.

During class hours, youll receive academic training, as well as hands-on experience from a State Board Certified Instructor. This will account for a portion of your required hours and you will then receive your remaining hours while working in the field.

This powerful combination will ensure a wealth of knowledge and experience by the time you are ready to take your State Board of Cosmetology examination. It is a recipe for success.
